YONG Foundation
What is the YONG Foundation?
In 2008 The founder and CEO of the Yong Corporation and author of ‘The Australian Dream and $1 Properties’, Peter Huang, began the set-up of the Yong Foundation – an organisation primarily aimed at supporting:
- Research into cancer
- Diseases specifically affecting the elderly, women and children
- Significant Natural Disasters
The YONG Foundation was formally approved in 2009 and is now a fully registered charity organisation with donations allowed from any organisations having Deductable Gift Recipient (DGR) status. The funding from the charity is in completely line with the above objectives.
The YONG Foundation is primarily funded by Yong Internationals Pty Ltd trading as Yong Real Estate, which commits 20.2% of its gross annual revenue to the Foundation. As a PAF (Private Ancillary Fund), the majority of the funding comes from Yong Real Estate, with up to a further 10% of the total funds receivable able to come from outside sources.

The Foundation keeps all requests on file and strictly confidential and distributes funds to those organisations meeting the criteria once distributed funds are available.
